FAQs

Football Debts include those costs that arise directly from the football activity (e.g. fines & match fees.)  Subscriptions, players kit & fund raising activities do not fall in to the scope of the scheme. If you are unsure if the debt is eligible under the scheme, please get in touch for guidance.

Before contacting the County to attempt to collect the debt on your behalf, we would ask that you contact the debtor directly in writing to seek payment. A sensible approach to debt being build up over a number of incidents would be to operate a no pay no play policy in the interests of the club and other players that are paying what is owed by them?

Please approach Berks & Bucks FA as soon as you are aware of a problem in collecting the debt. In all cases, please ensure that you contact us within 28 days of payment being requested and within 112 days of the debt being incurred. Please note we are unable to collect on debts that are over 112 days.
