DBS Checks (Disclosure and Barring Service)

Obtaining a Disclosure and barring service check (DBS)

To obtain a DBS, part of the process includes having certain documents verified in person by an approved individual. In order to complete this part of the process successfully, the following two options are available:

1. If you are a club coach, assistant coach or committee member, please complete your DBS check via your Club Welfare Officer.

2. If you are a referee or a Club Welfare Officer please contact the County FA, Designated Safeguarding Officer, Graham Fisher, via Safeguarding@Berks-BucksFA.com for instructions on how to undertake your check.

Safeguarding Recertification Online

Safeguarding is everybody’s responsibility.

Recognising the important role you play in football, safeguarding training and awareness must be updated every three years. Those who have previously attended a Safeguarding Children Course will be able to take the free online recertification course.
