We are delighted to welcome Adam Parry to the Berks & Bucks FA team.

Adam joins the organisation as our Referee Development Officer and will work closely with the team internally as well as with our member Referees and the wider football community.

Football has always played a large part in Adam’s life. Currently a Level 5 Referee, Adam has previously operated at Level 4 and has been officiating for nearly nine years. A keen Liverpool supporter, at the weekends Adam will always be doing something football related, whether that be officiating, watching Liverpool or watching a local grassroots game.

He graduated from the University of Brighton in 2021 with a degree in Sport and Exercise Science and worked in Occupational Health as a Health Trainer for a couple of years before joining Berks & Bucks FA. 

On his appointment, Adam said: “I am very happy to be joining the wonderful team at Berks & Bucks FA and being able to wake up every day and work in Football is great. I have always been a big football fan and a big supporter of grassroots football, so to be able to have an impact to help referees be their best, will be very rewarding.

"I am keen to provide continuous professional development opportunities for all referees, and also have a focused development group for those looking to move up the progression pathway. I also want to be able to provide the best support for all referees in the county, to allow referees to really enjoy their games, and I look forward to seeing and working with as many referees as possible over the coming months/years.”

In his role, Adam will lead on the implementation of retention strategies for new and existing referees whilst actively promoting and supporting the progression of talented referees across our region.
