Clubs receive financial 'Boost' as part of new programme

The BBFA Boost fund has been introduced to support the retention and growth of teams across the County.

The BBFA Boost was launched in late May aimed at supporting the retention and growth of teams across the County.

We are committed to supporting the development of football across the Berks & Bucks region and introducing the fund, enables Clubs to continue their development by offering a boost.

To ensure we are able to offer support to the areas of the game in most need, we reviewed the data across all formats of the grassroots game this season to ensure the specific areas of local football in need of support are prioritised.

In the three-week window, we received an incredible 115 submissions from Clubs and, after reviewing each application in great detail, were able to support a total of 37 Clubs (41 Teams) giving them a “boost” to support the creation and ongoing development of the team in their local grassroots community which is broken down as follows:

Youth Female (U7-U18)- 14 Teams
Youth Male (U7-U18)- 12 Teams
Adult Female- 2 Teams
Adult Male- 11 Teams
Disability- 2 Teams

We are proud to be able to offer a financial “boost” to so many clubs and we look forward to seeing the results this season and beyond.

The BBFA Boost programme will return later this season but if you have any questions please contact the Development Team by emailing Development@Berks-BucksFA.com
