Following changes to the affiliation process implemented from the start of the 2023/24 season, clubs will no longer receive an overall affiliation number. 

Instead, affiliation is now completed on a team-by-team basis with each team within a club now having an individual affiliation status. Leagues and clubs are able to view the affiliation status of individual teams within their club or competition via the Portal, as referenced below:

Leagues will be able to see the affiliation status of all teams in their league on their side of the Portal. (competitions.thefa.com).



Clubs can see the affiliation status on their own teams by going to the team’s section of the Club Portal (clubs.thefa.com). 



Tournaments

If proof of affiliation is requested for the purposes of tournament entry etc, evidence of individual teams’ affiliation status can be found on the Teams section of the Club Portal.
