We're running two courses specifically for female participants in October this year. 

The FA courses, open only to women, are a Referee Course and a Level 1 Coaching Course, each providing fantastic insight into the world of refereeing and/or coaching in grassroots football, as well as providing the perfect introduction to each of the different pathways.

Designed for anyone aged 14 and above, The FA Referees Course will allow you to join the thousands of referees officiating matches week-in week-out around the county.  Whether you want to referee in youth and adult leagues, men’s or women’s football or have aspirations of one day walking the teams out at Wembley, the FA Referees Course is your starting point.

There are many reasons to get into refereeing; keeping fit, learning new skills, earning a bit of extra money to name a few, and to further entice more women to take up refereeing we're offering this course for a special price of just £100 which is a saving of £45 straight away.

Delivered by a Female FA Tutor, The FA Female Only Referee Course starts on Tuesday 2nd October at Berks & Bucks FA office in Abingdon and continues throughout October at dates and venues listed below.

Later on in the month, commencing on Sunday 14th October is our Female Only Level 1 Coaching Football courses, taking place in Bracknell.

The FA Level 1 in Coaching Football course provides learners with an introduction to coaching the game and working with players from under 7 to open age. The course is made up of eight face-to-face workshops covering a range of topics linked to the England DNA as well as some online modules to complete.

Over the duration of the course you will be introduced to:

• The England DNA
• The FA 4 Corner Model which will help you gain a better understanding of player-long-term development
• The FA Plan, Do, Review Model, helping you construct appropriate practices and sessions
• A series of practical coaching ideas, giving you the ability to recognise the various ingredients that make up safe and engaging practices

The course costs just £170. However if you coach for a FA Charter Standard Club, you can get a discount and pay just £145. The dates of the course are:
