Football Behaviour & Impact Officer

Location: Abingdon (OX14 1SG) - with travel across Berkshire & Buckinghamshire as required and opportunities for remote working.
Salary: Band 4 (£25,515 - £31,185) per annum, dependent on experience.
Hours:
35 hours per week. (Requirement to work evenings and weekends, in line with the demands of the role.)
Contract: Full time - Fixed Term Contract (Expiring June 2028).


The opportunity


Berks & Bucks FA prides itself on being an organisation run by good people and believes that EVERYONE should be able to play football in a safe environment. Our role is simple to lead, protect and support an individual’s journey in football by inspiring a lifelong relationship with the game.

We are looking for someone to join our organisation in this exciting and unique role which will positively impact on the behaviour of players, officials and spectators in grassroots football. The role holder will develop and deliver a range of interventions to promote positive behaviour across our member Clubs and Leagues, including media campaigns and face-to-face workshops.


Main responsibilities 

•  Develop and implement a County-wide Action Plan to deliver a measurable improvement in behaviour in the game within the next 3 years
•  Deliver campaigns, interventions and workshops to the football community promoting positive behaviour
•  Add value to FA promotional campaigns and interventions on a local level

• Someone with experience creating and leading impactful projects
