Boost Fund for Clubs Returns

The BBFA Boost Fund is back to support the retention and growth of provision across the region.

The BBFA Boost Fund is back!

Originally, launched in May 2022, the fund was a huge success last season, and saw thirty different clubs awarded a total of £8,000 to help retain and grow the game across the county.

We continue to be committed to supporting the development of football across the region and by re-introducing this fund, it enables clubs to continue their development by offering them a 'boost'.

To maximise the support the fund provides, and, having reviewed data from across all formats of the grassroots game in our region, this season we are encouraging applications for youth and adult male teams as well as women’s walking football and recreational sessions.

To support the retention of existing teams, up to £250 will be available for successful clubs to sustain their team moving into next season. For the growth of new provision, up to £400 will be available to successful clubs which could go towards kit/equipment and education courses for coaches.

Please note, there is also the Barclays Community Football Fund by Sported, which is available for groups offering football for the benefit of under-represented young people. We encourage applications to Sported for Female & Disability teams, previously serviced by the Boost Fund. For more information, please click here.

The fund is available to all Berks & Bucks FA affiliated clubs, with the application window open from Tuesday 25th April to Sunday 21st May. If you need support with your application, please have a look at a Template Application or speak to our Football Development Team.
