Berks & Bucks FA are pleased to confirm the very first BBFA Female Coaches Conference.

Taking place on Sunday 13th August at Reading FC (10am-3pm) the Conference is both ideal for experienced coaches and individuals who have just started their journey or are interested in getting involved, so we're looking forward to welcoming female coaches from across the region to this special event.

We are also delighted to confirm that we will be joined by Assistant Head of Coaching at QPR, Manisha Tailor MBE, as our Keynote Speaker. Manisha will provide insight into her journey and experiences so far in football.

Building on a successful season of CPD sessions delivered through our Female Coaches Community programme, the Conference will also include two CPD Workshops, delivered as morning and afternoon sessions by FA Regional Coach Development Officer, Vicky Fisher & FA Coach Mentors, Chris Berry & Jon Simmons.

The two CPD workshops which are being delivered are: 

Effective Communication & Relationships Practical Workshop: This workshop will enable coaches to confidently communicate with individuals and teams to get their across clearly and appropriately to create the desired impact both on and off the pitch. 

Skills & Tactics Understanding Practical Workshop: This workshop will enable coaches to identify players strengths and offer insight on how we as coaches can the support the development of more skilful players linked to the understanding and execution of tactics.

The event is FREE with a £10 deposit to secure your place. Deposits will be returned to everyone who attends the Conference. Lunch and light refreshments will also be provided on the day.
