Berks & Bucks FA are hosting an event as part of the BBFA Female Coaches Community to celebrate International Women’s Day 2023. 

International Women’s Day is a global day (March 8th ) celebrating the social economic cultural, and political achievements of women. across the world. This year's theme is #EmbraceEquity with IWD raising awareness about discrimination, celebrating women’s achievements and to take action to drive gender parity.

The BBFA are running a workshop highlighting and celebrating achievements by Women in football on Wednesday 8th March.

The event is taking place at Reading FC’s Select Car Leasing Stadium, 7:00pm-8:30pm with the workshop led by FA Regional Coach Development Officer, Vicky Fisher. Vicky will look at what IWD is and why it is important to educate and discuss in football. 

We will also be joined by special guests:

Shelley Strange- Reading FC Academy Coach 
Kelly Sutton- BBFA Football Participation Manager 

The special guests will share their journey’s and experiences in the game offering opportunity for attendees to ask questions.
