Slough Town FC have a thriving Community Team which offers Pan Disability training and competitive matches for adults at both 7 and 11 aside.
The group has been running for circa 10 years and has approx 30 active members. The sessions provide fitness and promote both physical and mental wellbeing through sport, but also provide social interaction and team spirit for adults who for any number of reasons feel unable to participate in mainstream football.
Due to changing personal and work commitments, both coaches are stepping aside this summer, so we are seeking a new coach/manager or two to work with the group. Training is currently fortnightly, BOBi competitions monthly and 11 aside roughly once per month. Although voluntary, it is a rewarding and enjoyable role within an existing team of assistants and with support, CPD and back up from the Slough Town FC Community CIC.
The role would be subject to DBS and relevant safeguarding qualification, but coaching qualifications can be gained in post.
Please feel free to contact Kay Lathey via email for more information or to apply for the role.
