Salary: £180 per week
Contract Term: Until April 2023 (15 months) - 30 hours per week



Berks & Bucks FA, working in partnership with Lifetime Training, are delighted to announce a new opportunity for an apprentice Community Activator Officer.

Berks & Bucks FA is the local governing body for football covering Berkshire & Buckinghamshire. These are exciting times for the County FA as we support football’s response and recovery from Covid and look forward to the launch of our new three-year strategy and a relocation of the County FA office. The successful candidate for this role will be instrumental in helping the County FA to achieve our ambitions. 


The Role


Berks & Bucks County Football Association is seeking to appoint an apprentice Community Activator Officer. The successful candidate will support the engagement -of new referees and coaches from all communities and aid the with co-ordination of courses and training. There will be the opportunity to assist in developing partnerships and helping to ensure our safeguarding operating standards are met.
 
This role is based at our headquarters in Abingdon. Due to the nature of the work there may be a requirement to a small amount of evenings through the season to support and monitor courses and events. Flexible working arrangements, including adjusted hours and home working opportunities, are available.

Training to be delivered

The training will be delivered through Lifetime Training, and will give candidates a Level 3 Community Sport & Health Officer qualification. More details on the training can be found here.
