Richard Lipscombe

It is with great sadness that we inform you that long-serving BBFA Council Member, Richard Lipscombe, has passed away.

It is with great sadness that we announce that BBFA Council Member, Richard Lipscombe, has passed away.

Not only was Richard a long-serving member of BBFA Council (having served in the role for over 20 years) but he had also previously held numerous other roles within the organisation, including representing Berks & Bucks FA on The FA Council.

Richard was an active volunteer in local football, both for the Aylesbury & District League and for the County FA up until very recently and his contribution to the game was second-to-none.

Liz Verrall, CEO at Berks & Bucks FA, said: "Richard epitomised volunteering across Berks & Bucks FA. He held many roles across football, his passion, his commitment and his determination was second to none and will be sorely missed"

From all at Berks & Bucks FA, we offer our deepest sympathies and condolences to his family, friends and all who knew him at this incredibly difficult time.

He will be sadly missed by many.
