Vacancy:  Women's Football Recreational Officer

Overview of the role:

To manage and deliver all aspects of the UEFA European Championship 2022 adult women’s recreation legacy project and create a network of sustainable activities across the Milton Keynes Borough to enable more women and girls to play football.

The post holder will develop a range of exciting and innovative approaches to engage women in Milton Keynes area to get involved in football as a new player, or as a returning player.  Our aim is to increase women’s participation in football in a range of different ways from increasing opportunities for competition, recreational small sided football for adult ages, using football activities to improve health and well-being and develop future coaches and officials for the Milton Keynes area.

The work is funded for initially 12 months with the aim to extend for a further year if funding is secured (grant applications pending).

Salary: £27,000 initially 1 year with potential to extend to 2 years.
Annual Leave entitlement 28 Days
