Virtual Coaches Conference 2020
We are very pleased to announce that we will be holding a Virtual Coaches Conference 2020 which will offer attendees up to 6 hours of accredited CPD.
Each year we run the BBFA Coaches Conference specifically for grassroots coaches in the County. Over the last few years we’ve had Pete Sturgess, Kevin Betsy and Geoff Noonan deliver content to the 100 coaches in attendance at each of our conferences.
This year we were booked in and looking forward to holding the 2020 Coaches Conference on Sunday 5th July at Bisham Abbey and no doubt would have been a fantastic occasion enjoyed by all. With the current pause of all football activity we have of course had cancelled our face-to-face Conference.
With the recent success of our BBFA Online Coaching Programme, which has seen 45 webinars since the end of March provide coaches with learning and development opportunities throughout lockdown, we have decided to proceed with the Conference by moving it online.
The virtual Conference will consist of four 1.5 hours sessions over the weekend of 1st & 2nd August 2020 and will cost just £15 to enter.
The Conference will offer those in attendance 6 hours worth of accredited CPD for coaches FA Level 1,2 & 3 and will benefit coaches of all age groups, from Foundation Phase all the way through to Open-Aged football.
The content will cover a range of topics including a Foundation DNA Workshop (5-11 years) with Pete Sturgess, a session on the Polyvagal Theory with Sally Needham, a Developing a Philosophy workshop with Mark Rivers and finally, a Return to Football workshop with Austin Harris.

Saturday 1st August
Session 1: 10am-11:25am - From Technique to Tactics, the Foundation Phase DNA with Pete Sturgess
Session 2: 11:30am-1pm - Introducing the Polyvagal Theory with Sally Needham
Sunday 2nd August
Session 3: 10am-11:25am - Developing a Philosophy with Mark Rivers
Session 4: 11:30am-1pm - Return to Football with Austin Harris
