The Referee promotion scheme operates from 1st March to 30th April 2020. Referees should be regularly officiating adult football, or working towards, to apply for promotion.
All promotion applications must be received no later than 28th February. Any application for promotion received after this date will not be considered. Full details on the promotion criteria/application process can be viewed by following the below link.
Promotion criteria and Application Process information
Level 7 Junior referees- Referees aged 16+
Level 6 County referees
Level 5 Senior County referees.
Level 4 Referee on a Supply League (e.g. Hellenic League, Spartan South Midlands League). In addition Level 4 officials will serve as Assistant Referees on the Contributory Leagues e.g. Southern League, Isthmian League.
Promotion to Level 4 and above will be administered by The FA.
Level 3 Referee on the National List of Contributory Leagues
Level 2B Referees selected by The FA to serve on the Panel List
Level 2A Referees selected by The FA to serve on the Panel Select List
Level 1 Referees selected by The Football Association to serve on the Referees panel of the National List (Premier and Football Leagues)
International: Referees who are on the FIFA List of Referees.
