Grassroots Football Award winners announced in style
Volunteers from across Berks & Bucks were recognised for their dedication to the local grassroots game at the eighth annual BBFA Awards Evening which took place at Reading FC on Friday 20th July.
The evening was attended by nominees from each of the ten FA & McDonalds Grassroots Football Award categories, with winners announced on the night in front of friends and peers.
The FA and McDonald’s Grassroots Football Awards are for people who make a positive difference. They aim to recognise those individuals and groups who put their heart and soul into the game and those whose' actions and behaviour make The FA’s PRIDE values part of the game for their clubs, leagues and communities.
The annual awards evening offers us the chance to celebrate all the fantastic work being done by grassroots football volunteers right across Berks & Bucks and allows us to say thank for inspiring us all to aim for greatness. Without you, football simply wouldn't exist.
