Iftar event to be hosted in Slough

Attendees at this sold-out community event will enjoy a unique blend of sports, spirituality and community.

Berks & Bucks FA in collaboration with JMIC Mosque Slough, and Slough Town FC Community Trust are to host an Iftar celebration.

Attendees at this sold out community event at the end of March will enjoy a day of tournament football (for ages 8-15) food, prayers and more at Arbour Park in Slough, in this unique blend of sports, spirituality and community.

Iftar Event Details

- Youth Tournament (8 -13 year old)
- JMIC Mosque delivering the prayers at the ground
- Break fast together
- 250+ attendees
- FA delivering a talk about opportunities for Muslim community in Football within Slough.

Callum Salhotra, Community & Inclusion Manager at Berks & Bucks FA said: "We recognise the importance of community cohesion and inclusivity within our region. By supporting an Iftar event with JMIC Mosque Slough and Slough Town FC Community Trust, our aim is to promote cultural understanding, strengthen relationships between different communities through the universal language of football and shared traditions of breaking fast together.
