Become a Football Monitor

We're looking for volunteers to join our team of Football Monitors supporting youth football across the region.

Berks & Bucks FA are looking for volunteers to take on the role of 'Football Monitors' across our region.

As a Football Monitor volunteers will be required to attend a number of weekend matches (Saturdays and/or Sundays) across the region on behalf of the County FA where they will engage with the football community, gain valuable feedback and promote positive environments for all.

Football Monitors will be required to speak with coaches, club officials and spectators/parents at the games they attend and to complete a short report for the County FA following the visit.

Matches/visits will be allocated and may include random/spot visits, either because a concern has been raised about the behaviour of one or both of the teams, or because one or both of the clubs have themselves requested a presence at the game.

Because the majority of games will be in youth football Football Monitors will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check, approved by the FA. A small stipend will be paid for each visit completed.

We are looking for people for people to cover the following areas: Reading, Milton Keynes, Aylesbury, High Wycombe, Slough, South Oxfordshire.

In the first instance please email Safeguarding@Berks-BucksFA.com with an outline of your experience in grassroots football, why you would like to undertake the role and the locations you would be prepared to cover.

Berks & Bucks FA are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applicants from all communities.
