The FA appoint new County Coach Developer to BBFA

Mark Rivers appointed as County Coach Developer to replace Daniel Fenner, who has moved to Hertfordshire FA.

After two years, the Berks & Bucks FA County Coach Developer Daniel Fenner is crossing borders to work on behalf of The FA, at Hertfordshire FA. Danny has had a fantastic impact on local coaches across Berks & Bucks, and will be sorely missed by the team. We wish him all the best in his new role.

With a vacancy, comes an appointment, and we are delighted to announce that The FA have appointed Mark Rivers as the new County Coach Developer for Berks & Bucks FA. Mark comes with experience of delivering as a coach for many years across the two counties as part of The FA Skills team, and more recently has delivered FA Level 1 and Level 2 Coach Education courses for Berks & Bucks FA. We wish Mark all the best in his new role. If he has the same impact Danny has had over the past two years, local coaches are going to receive great opportunities to develop their knowledge through our Education pathway.

Mark sums up the appointment in his own words below:
"I am absolutely delighted to have been given the opportunity to help develop and support the grassroots coaches workforce throughout Berks and Bucks, whilst striving to give everyone involved in this new venture a positive and worthwhile experience.

I have worked within the FA for seven years now and have coached  at a variety of Professional clubs, but I believe I am entering a new phase in my career now, that will provide me with an opportunity to share some of my knowledge that I have gained over the past 25 Years."
