Lifestyles have changed dramatically over the past 20 years impacting on player commitment weekly to their respective local team and club, hence a number of recent interventions from The FA with the recent success of the 'Repeat Substitutions' (Step 7 below), transitional U21 divisions, our very own Football Fund of £750 supporting the development of a new adult team, FA Mars Just Play and finally The NEW FA Elevens.

FA Mars Just Play are social and recreational sessions that are predominantly run mid week and offer a football fix for those that cannot commit to a team on a weekend and weekly. They also offer an entry back into football whether the individual has just moved into the area, back from injury or has once again found the time to enjoy playing football. Through FA Mars just Play we have created a number of teams that have gone onto affiliate a new adult football club and to join a local league.

We also have a number of provisions for clubs wishing to access funding, please see our Facilities & Funding page.
