Munnawar Chishty joined the Board at Berks & Bucks FA as our new Commercial Director in January this year.
In her role, Munnawar will be responsible for identifying and reviewing partnerships to maximise commercial opportunities across the organisation. By working with members of staff and consultants, she will also be responsible for setting the new strategic commercial direction for the Association.
With a family full of avid Premier League followers who also play and support school football, Munnawar is raring to go at grassroots level and looking forward to helping the organisation achieve its strategic objectives.
On her appointment to the Board, Munnawar said: "I’m looking forward to supporting the Bucks & Berks FA team in implementing its strategy and providing insight from my commercial experience. I’m excited about getting to know the team and understanding more about how I can help."
Munnawar brings a wealth of experience having held senior marketing positions in leading global organisations such as; GSK, Johnson & Johnson and, most recently, Walgreens Boots Alliance. The current Vice President and Global Category Director Beauty at Walgreens Boots Alliance, Munnawar is responsible for leading the strategic growth, consumer communication and innovation plans of big-name brands such as No7 and Liz Earle.
