Referees End Season on a High
Referees across the county have been extremely busy officiating thousands of League games, League Cup games and County Cup Games. That doesn’t mention the referee workforce supporting them behind the scenes, in terms of referee appointments officers, observers, mentors , tutors and coaches.
To conclude the season, several referees have achieved promotion, which reflects the hard work and dedication shown throughout the season.
The following referees achieved promotion to Level 4 and will now officiate at supply and contributory level:
Lennon Davis , Nathan Dow, Tolga Inanc, Matthew Laughlin, Stephen Parkinson, Connor Smith, Stephen Williams, Darren Hill- Army FA
The following referees achieved promotion to Level 5:
Luke Reeson, Amman Ayub, George Maxwell, Richard Warburton, Adam Parry, Jake Atkinson, John Tate, Matt Myers, Ryan Stubbs, Simon Witting, Harry Tarrant, James Honour
The following referees achieved promotion to Level 6:
Aidan Vaughan, Harjit Samra, Nuno Guerreiro, Julian Davis, Rajan Mohindra, Isaac Blakey, Mark Graham, Oliver Ryan-George, Alex Criddle, Alex Searle, Andy Devlin, Connor Ryan, Danny Myers
Lisa Benn, Referee Development Officer, commented: ‘Congratulations to all the above match officials that have secured promotion this season, and for those committed referees that have achieved their own goals this season.
