Job Vacancy - Head of Delivery

Berks & Bucks Football Association is seeking to recruit a Head of Delivery to lead the football development team delivering against the FA National Game Strategy at a local level. The position will report to the Chief Executive and is a fixed term contract until 30th June 2019 with a view to being extended depending on FA Funding.

Job Role: Head of Delivery (Development), fixed until 30th June 2019 (35 hours per week)

Organisation: Berks & Bucks Football Association Ltd.
Salary: £34,000-£37,000 per annum, plus a Company Car

Specific areas of work will include
1. To lead and manage the delivery of the National Game Strategy in the Berks & Bucks FA in partnership with key stakeholders.                           

2. To lead and manage the Football Development Team (directly and indirectly)

3. To lead on facility development and investment streams within the County  

4. To lead in-house facility management projects (currently Ryeish Green, Wokingham) 

5. To deputise for the Chief Executive during any absences

The role will link directly to all six of Berks & Bucks FA strategic objectives which include the following: direct engagement with all of our members; retain and safeguard our existing teams; double participation within the female game; develop sustainable income streams; develop new innovative forms of the game and develop healthy challenged staff to secure the game. 

As part of this exciting opportunity, you will have proven leadership and management skills and track record of creating a culture of accountability. You will have an excellent record of building strong relationships with board, staff, stakeholders, internal colleagues and external organisations.

You will need to have significant experience in sport/football development and facility development. 

Due to the requirements of this role, the successful applicant will undergo a screening process which will include an Enhanced Criminal Records Check.
