Vacancy- Internal Quality Assurer

Berks & Bucks Football Association is seeking an Internal Quality Assurer to lead the internal verification process for our 1st4sport FA Level 1 in Coaching Football and our 1st4sport FA Level 2 in Coaching Football.

The position will report to the Workforce Officer and will work closely with our Football Development Workforce team, FA County Coach Developer, Berks & Bucks FA Affiliate Tutors and the 1st4sport External Quality Assurer.

Berks & Bucks County FA is the Governing Body for football which primary purpose is to lead, support and protect ‘your journey in football’. We are one of the largest County FA’s in the Country, serving in excess of 3,250 football teams, 45,000 players, 15,000 volunteer workforce and over 1000 registered referees. Berks & Bucks FA is a 1st4sport accredited centre and facilitates approximately 30 X 1st4sport Level 1 Awards in Coaching Football and 3 X 1st4sport Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Football Awards annually.

Specific areas of work will include ensuring the following:

 Complies with the quality assurance conditions outlined in the qualification specification

 Complies with the centre’s policies, procedures and customer service commitment

 Conducts all IQA interventions with integrity and objectivity that is free from conflict or bias.

 Conducts IQA for 25% of our 1st4sport Level 1 and Level 2 Courses (approximate 4 hours per course once a month).

The successful candidate will be passionate and committed to developing grassroots football specifically our course programme within Berks & Bucks. They will have excellent communication skills and will ensure the conditions outlined by 1st4sport are met ensuring consistency in the standards and processes across our Level 1 and Level 2 courses. They will be responsible for completed the IQA sampling matrix toolkit and updating records working with the CFA workforce team through Athena. They will be motivated to work individually and within a team and be willing to work flexible hours subject to the course demand. The successful applicant will work remotely at various venues across Berks & Bucks.
