Women's Fixtures

Intro to Squad plus fixtures, results and reports...

Our women’s representative team have proved themselves to be able to compete alongside some of the stronger counties with the south east Counties League. The B & B Women’s committee made the decision two seasons ago that the B & B rep squad would be accessible to any player registered to a club within the county or that they were born within the county. This immediately provides the girls with stiff opposition as other counties are often represented by their highest place team. The team plays midweek so should not interfere with players club football. All B & B teams within the county are notified of the trial dates over the summer and encouraged to send players along, ideally by the end of August we name a squad of up to 20 who will be selected throughout the season. If players are nominated throughout the season quite often a member of the council will go out to one of her club games and report back to the committee. The team is managed & coach by Lisa Welling & Graham Malcolm both B licence coaches. Administration is done by Ken Boddy and fully supported by the B & B Women’s committee who regular attend home & away matches.
