Child Protection Workshops

The final two Child Protection Workshops will be: Tuesday 22nd March at Bucks CC Sports & Social Club, Stoke Mandeville Aylesbury, 7.30 – 10.00pm and Tuesday 26th April at Thatcham Town Football Club, Thatcham, 7.30 – 10.00pm. The Instructor will be Janie Frampton

The objectives of the Workshops are:

To provide mandatory training in Child Protection. It will lead to the FA’s Child Protection Certificate which is valid for three years.

Who should attend:

  • All existing B&B Instructors, Mentors and Mentors who do not already hold the FA’s Child Protection Certificate
  • All existing B&B Instructors, Mentors and Mentors whose current FA’s Child Protection Certificate is about to expire

Why do we need a Child Protection Certificate?

It is now mandatory and a legal requirement and must be achieved before 1st January 2006 for all Instructors, Mentors and Mentors

What is the Cost?

The County Football Association will pay for the course for all existing Instructors, Mentors and Mentors – this offer runs out on 26th April 2006 after which, the cost of £15 must by borne by the individual.

Pre-registration is essential to ensure that sufficient resource packs can be supplied.
