Whether you are a parent or guardian that wants to find a local girls’ team or a young player that wants to take that next step, we have lots of options to help you with your journey.
If you are looking for a local youth club with girl’s teams there are plenty around Berks & Bucks that offer a safe environment for girls to play regular football. Clubs usually train midweek and then play fixtures at weekends during the season which runs September -May.
There are two main girls leagues affiliated to Berks & Bucks FA, these are as follows:
- Berkshire County Girls League: Click here for the league's official website
- Bucks County Girls League: Click here for the Full-time Page
If you want to find out more about girls football and would like information on teams local to you, get in touch via the details at the bottom of this page.

Girls can also play ‘mixed’ football with boys up until the aged of 18yrs.
The Berks & Bucks FA has launched a new regular Girls Festival event in Slough to increase participation in Slough and the surrounding areas. The festivals, taking place on the last Saturday of each month, aim to provide girls with an opportunity to play matches in a fun and relaxed environment.
Matching kit isn’t required and we organise all of the equipment, as well as providing FA qualified referees. The Festivals will take place at Farnham Park Playing Fields, Beaconsfield Road, Slough, SL2 3BP and usually run from 10am – 12pm.
