FA Talent Identification Programme

The FA Talent Identification Programme (TIP) provides the opportunity for disabled players to access the England Talent Pathway and potentially become a member of an England Development Squad and potentially a future England international player.

This page will provide support along with an information for players, coaches and teachers to answer any questions they may have regarding the programme and a guide to register for the upcoming England Talent Day.

What Players are we looking for?
The TIP programme is open for players aged 11-16 and registered players must be eligible for one of the following impairment groups:-
• Amputee (Lower or Upper limb)
• Blind (B1)
• Cerebral palsy or Acquired Brain Injury (ABI)
• Deaf or Hearing Impaired
• Learning Disability (must hold a SEN statement)
• Visually Impaired / Partially Sighted (B2/B3)

How to get involved?
The first step for players within the Talent Identification Programme is to attend the upcoming England Talent Day on Saturday 18th March at Bisham Abbey (1pm-3pm). During the England Talent Day players will be assessed and, if successful, will be invited to the six-week Talent Identification Programme, which is facilitated by Reading FC and the Berks & Bucks FA starting in early March.

Following the six-week training programme players can be nominated to advance through to the South East Regional Centre and then onto Development Squads.

How to register?
We are looking for talented players that can progress through the England Disability Talent Pathway. If you would like to be assessed by FA Coaches and attend the England Talent Day please register by following the link below.
