Football Foundation Funding for BBFA Clubs
As we bid farewell to 2022, The Football Foundation have provided updated information regarding the total amount of investment in our region, from 2000 to date.
The Football Foundation provides funding and facility support for grassroots sport across the country. This investment continues to improve community football facilities throughout Berks & Bucks, the Vale of White Horse and South Oxfordshire through actions such as; building new 3G Pitches, building & updating changing facilities, supplying goalposts and maintaining grass pitches.
Below you will find some examples of the types of investments made across the County through the Football Foundation.
• Ascot United Football Club
- £554k grant received
- Stadia pitch upgraded to 3G
• Cantley Park, Wokingham Brough Council
- £616k grant received
- New 3G pitch and clubhouse
• Faringdon Town Football Club
- £30k Football Foundation funding received over 6 years through the Grass Pitch Maintenance Fund
- To improve the quality of their grass pitches
• Fairfields Sports Hub, Milton Keynes Council
- £744k Football Foundation funding received
- New 3G pitch and clubhouse
• Gerrards Cross & Fulmer Football Club
- £20k Football Foundation funding received
- To fund new grounds maintenance equipment
• Moretonville Junior Football Club
- £285k Football Foundation funding received
- Changing room extension and refurbishment
• Wingrave Junior Football Club
- £3k Football Foundation funding received
- To fund new goals
All of this is made possible by the Premier League, The Football Foundation, The FA, Sport England and of course our hard-working club volunteers.
