We are delighted to welcome Pedro Viveiros to the Berks & Bucks FA team.

Pedro joins Berks & Bucks FA as Football Participation Manager and will work closely with the team internally as well as with member clubs, leagues and the wider football community.

Pedro began his involvement within the County FA network as a member of Hampshire FA’s young persons forum as Workforce Officer and then as Vice-Chair, whilst studying Sports Development and Coaching Sciences at Bournemouth University. Following graduation, he joined the full-time staff at Hampshire FA where he spent 4.5 years as Adult Male Football Officer, specifically looking at retention of 11v11 teams, before becoming Male Pathway Lead.

Outside of work, Pedro is in the final stages of studying a Masters in Sport Management at Solent University where he is researching cultural diversity within County FA workforces.

He admits that football has always been a massive part of his life, whether that be watching Southampton FC (someone has to), playing (badly) or coaching. He currently still plays for a local Sunday team in Southampton and Coaches a Men's First Team, with aspirations to do his UEFA B and coach at a higher level. 

On his appointment, Pedro said; "I have been made to feel really welcome at BBFA since starting and looking forward to next season where I can hopefully have a positive impact on disability and adult football as well as working closely with clubs and leagues."

In his role, Pedro is responsible for managing our small team of Development Officers and supporting the growth of male & female football participation, whilst working directly with our clubs and leagues to continue their development.
