New Workshops for Female Coaches

Female Coaches Community workshops available to book in June & July

Following the successful launch of the the BBFA Female Coaches Community, support the development of female coaches in the County, we can confirm new workshops are now available to book. 

On Monday 20th June, we will host a virtual online session titled “Season Reflection” before heading out onto the pitch the following month for two practical sessions in Milton Keynes and Reading during the latter stages of the UEFA Women’s Euro 2022.

Season Reflection (Online Workshop)
Monday 20th June- 7:30pm-9:00pm

This workshop, hosted by Vicky Fisher and the team, coaches will go into breakout rooms to share their reflections of the past season, including what went well and even better if before looking ahead to next season’s planning. Coaches will continue to share experiences and connect with one and other.

'Leading the Legacy' (Practical Workshop)

On this practical workshop we will look at the Women’s Euro’s so far and discuss Countries playing styles and philosophies.

We will then look ahead to planning for next season as coaches and deliver session ideas to support with those who may be transitioning into 7v7/9v9/11v11 before moving onto short term/long term goals and how they link to weekly coaching sessions.

The workshops will be led by FA Regional Coach Development Officer for Women & Girls, Vicky Fisher, and mentors Jon Simmonds & Chris Berry.

There is still time to join the ever-growing community and what’s more, the BBFA Female Coaches Community is free to join and is perfect for both new coaches into the game or experienced coaches. All workshops will provide the opportunity for coaches to continue their coach development and importantly, network and engage with other coaches from across the County.
