Affiliation 2021-22

Club affiliation for the 2021-22 Season is now open

Football clubs across Berks & Bucks can now start to affiliate their teams ready for the new season (2021/22) with the knowledge that they will not have to pay for individual club and team affiliations.

As with last season, to continue supporting our clubs following the impact of the coronavirus pandemic, we are offering subsidised club and team affiliation costs for our member clubs.

Affiliation 'at a glance'

Club Affiliation will open on 1 June 2021 via the Whole Game Portal
League Sanction will open on 1 July 2021 via the Whole Game Portal
Club and team affiliation fees will again be subsidised by the County FA meaning there is no cost for Clubs.
Public Liability Insurance and the mandatory minimum level of Personal Accident Insurance can again be purchased via the Affiliation application process
Clubs are reminded that all players must be registered with their Team, Club and League through the Whole Game System from next season

In addition to subsidising affiliation costs, we are pleased to announce that we are also offering a comprehensive programme of online webinars and support sessions for volunteers to provide additional support as they prepare for the new season.

The sessions will cover a range of administrative topics involved with club management including: a breakdown of the affiliation process, a practical demonstration on how to submit your affiliation via Whole Game System, role specific induction sessions, advice around finance and governance, and more. You can catch up on all previous support sessions now via our YouTube channel.

A full schedule of events has been provided to clubs and leagues and the full programme along with calendar links/reminders to book on to sessions will be available in the coming days, so check back on this page for more details!

In addition, the Affiliation page on our website features a host of information, useful links and resources to help get you started.

Player Registration

Clubs are reminded that from the 2021/22 season it is now mandatory that all players must be registered via the Whole Game System.

Every player must be registered with their Club, Team/s and League and have a unique email address (or be linked to a parent with a unique email address). This applies across all age groups and formats.

The FA have created an extensive library of resources to support Clubs and Competitions with the registration process which is constantly updated with new information which can be accessed via their Grassroots Helpdesk. If you need any support with the player registration process, please contact Support@Berks‐BucksFA.com

We will also be running online weekly clinics throughout August and September on Mondays (6:00 pm) and Thursdays (11:00 am) and we will promote these closer to the time via our email and on our social media channels.

County Cups Return

We are also delighted to be able to announce that the BBFA County Cups are returning for the 2021/22 season with a new look and in a restructured format - more details about the changes and a full set of updated competition rules will be made available in due course. Watch this space!...
