We are proud to announce that we are looking for an expression of interest from clubs to be part of our brand new Female School-Club Link programme which will launch in 2022. 

The School-Club Link will look to formalise relationships between a local School and Club, to work together for the benefit of Female Football in your local area.

The idea is that by formalising a relationship in the heart of local communities, there will be continued opportunities for girls to transition from playing football in a School environment, to sustaining this participation in a local club and providing potential opportunities to play fixtures against other teams in the area.

This link will hopefully provide mutual benefits for both the School and Club, with the potential sharing of facilities, knowledge and volunteer workforce amongst others. 

This is a fantastic opportunity to build relationships with local Schools and increase participation, ahead of the UEFA Women’s Euros 2022, where there is sure to be a spike in interest for Female Football, and you could be a part of the Legacy, playing your part in the growth of the female game across the County.

Following a period of consultation with Schools and Clubs across the County, we are now asking for an Expression of Interest from Clubs across the County to be involved in the programme. We will be following a similar process with Schools and the response will be reviewed in the New Year with a view to pairing interested Schools and Clubs to create a formal link.
