UPDATE: Tier 3 Football in Berks & Bucks

An update on the permitted Tier 3 football in Berkshire

Tier 3 Football in Berkshire

We have received confirmation from The FA that the DCMS has designated Berkshire as a single tier area. This includes the following local authority areas; Reading, Wokingham, Bracknell Forest, Windsor &Maidenhead, and West Berkshire.

This means that adult grassroots players/teams within the local authority areas listed above can travel within the designated 'Berkshire' area to play football.

Slough continues to remain separate from the rest of Berkshire, as does Milton Keynes from Buckinghamshire.

COVID Tiers

As per the guidance, adult grassroots players living in Tier 2 areas cannot travel into a Tier 3 area to play football and vice-versa. For example, Oxfordshire based teams playing in Berks/Bucks Leagues and vice-versa.

It also remains the case that adult grassroots players cannot travel from one designated Tier 3 area to another to play football. For example, you cannot travel between Berkshire and Slough, Slough &Buckinghamshire and Buckinghamshire & Milton Keynes.

We will continue to work closely with our member Clubs & Leagues providing support and information wherever possible.
