The Berks & Bucks FA U18 Representative Team kick-off their season this Sunday with an FA County Youth Cup Fixture against Middlesex FA in Uxbridge at 1pm. (Uxbridge FC, Horton Road, Middlesex, UB7 8HX)

Following successful trials and scouting in the summer the existing U18 side that reached the quarter finals of the competition last season, losing to eventual winners Manchester FA, has been bolstered by some exciting new additions including some players who have progressed from the U16 squad.

With a long season ahead for both the U18 and U16 sides, those players who weren't successful at the initial trials have all been informed that they are on a retained list throughout the season and could be called up at any time. The management team, led by Aaron Steadman and who work in youth football locally will also be scouting players throughout the season.

U16 start with a win

The U16 Representative Squad got off to winning ways in their first game of the season last week in the South and West Counties Championship (SWCC) as they sealed a 1-0 at home against Devon FA.
