Road closures for the Slough Half Marathon on Sunday 14th October

On Sunday 14 October, the Slough Half Marathon is returning to the town, following an 18 year break.

The event will have a big impact on traffic in the area and subsequently to grassroots football clubs with matches scheduled during the event.

The Half Marathon starts and finishes in Salt Hill Park. The start time is 9am and the event will run until approximately 1pm. If you are driving on Sunday 14 October please be prepared for delays and disruption across the borough from 8am-2pm.

A number of Slough’s roads will be fully closed or have restricted access during the race to safeguard those taking part. To view the route and the latest road closures please visit www.slough.gov.uk/halfmarathon. Please note all information is subject to change.

Road closures will be in place between 8.30am-1.30pm. Roads will be re-opened as soon as runners have completed that section of the route, to minimise disruption wherever possible. Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times.

Slough Borough Council would like to apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your support of the Slough Half Marathon.
