Rainbow Laces

Lace up for Stonewall

Stonewall's Rainbow Laces campaign is back this November

The FA is teaming up with Stonewall, the leading UK campaigning charity on LGBT+ rights to support the Rainbow Laces Campaign once again.

The campaign is a way for everyone involved in sport to show their support for LGBT+ equality and inclusivity. Berks & Bucks FA is proud to support the initiative and would like to invite our member clubs and leagues to join us in supporting this campaign.

There are a number of weekends that leagues, clubs and officials are being encouraged to support the campaign by wearing their Rainbow Laces for their games with the official weekends being 17th & 18th, 24th & 25th November, and 1st & 2nd December!

This season we have sent out over 400 sets of laces to leagues and clubs in Berks & Bucks FA who are showing their support for LGBT+ equality. Those supporting the campaign in Berks & Bucks include:

Thames Valley Counties Womens League
Reading Flexi League
Female Social & Recreational League (Bucks)
FA Mars Just Play (Refugees)
Wycombe Mosque League
BBFA Representative Squad

Rainbow Laces and more...

There are so many ways to go that step further and demonstrate that you are active allies of LGBT+ people in our communities; as well as wearing rainbow laces, why not support the campaign via your club and league websites, post your support on social media, or you may choose to be even more creative and innovative in how you show your support - it's completely up to you.

Sharing is caring
