The Berks & Bucks FA want your help in recognising and rewarding the groundsman that support our clubs across the County.

This annual award is a fantastic opportunity for clubs and leagues to highlight the incredible work and dedication of their groundsperson. The award is for all groundsmen involved in supporting clubs at Step 7 & below, with Berks & Bucks FA also providing a separate award for those operating at Step 5 & 6 clubs.

The Groundsmen at these level of football are nearly all volunteers who give up hours of their time to provide the best pitches possible using very few resources. This competition is a great way for these volunteers to get recognised on a local and national level.

All nominees shortlisted will be contacted to arrange a visit from our judging panel who will assess against the FA’s criteria. The top 3 applications will then be put forward as part of the FA’s National Awards (Step 7 & Below only).
