The popular Monday night flexi league at Ryeish Green came down to a title-deciding fixture this week between Woefulhampton Wanderers & Decent Athletic. 

The game did not disappoint and although Decent Athletic took the lead just before half time, Woefulhampton got two goals back in the second half to secure the victory and finish the season on top as league champions.

This autumn has seen a record number of player registrations within the league and it’s great to see so many players who had given up playing football, return to the sport they love. 

Not only has this helped support affiliated clubs within local leagues, but also provides a social competition for groups of mates and local businesses to take part in during the week. We hope to grow the league over the coming months and welcome new teams or individuals who would like to get involved.
