Olney have reached the final having travelled all over the County to progress through the rounds. There were testing ties in Reading against Imaan and Oxfordshire against Abingdon United. Having lost to last years finalist's MK Gallacticos manager Jamie Lands was hoping for a cup run; "I can honestly say I am proud to manage such a great group of lads, it's a fantastic achievement to get this far. Over 150 teams entered the competition and to be into the last 2 is someone that everyone can be happy with."

New Zealand, Aylesbury have also had a tough passage through to the final with tight wins over Elmhurst (on pens) and Iver Heath Rovers Reserves in the semi-final. A few of the team have previous County Cup Final experiences and they will be hoping this can get them over the line.

Sunday Intermediate Cup- Real Milan v Aylesbury Flooring
Sunday 10th April, 11:00KO, Venue- Marlow FC
On paper this final looks like a cracker! Real Milan go into the final with a 100% record in the Thames Valley Sunday League Premier Division. Manager Roger Evans says his team are ready for the final after a tough run; "As manager of Real Milan football Club, I am very excited about this opportunity of taking the club into the Sunday Intermediate County cup final, it’s the first time in the clubs long history we have reached this stage of this competition and will be hoping to go one better when we lost in the Junior cup many years ago. We as a club have come a long way over the past few years and are looking to add more silverware to the club. We have had a tough run in this years competition but we have been having a very good season so far and this gave us the belief to carry on this cup run. We take every game at a time and we are hoping on April 9th we can show our quality and if we perform we can win the final."

There opponents Aylesbury Flooring are having a remarkable season, winning the league and still on for a further 4 trophies! A club statement said; "Once again, huge thanks must go to Bucks’ best Floorers Ian and Jayne Middleton for their continued support and the staff at the Buckinghamshire Yeoman who continue to welcome us back despite regular Sunday sessions and sprayed Prosecco bottles. Our fanbase continues to grow and the lads appreciate the support on Sunday mornings, regardless of the weather. We are under no illusions of the task ahead today, but look forward to being a part of an entertaining encounter. You’ll Never Floor Alone."

We would like to wish all the finalists the best of luck in their respective finals. Entry is FREE to all of these finals, although a donation to Thames Valley Air Ambulance is required.
