New 9v9 Goal Grant

In light of the recent Youth Development Review a number of leagues have decided to move to the new formats for season 2012/13 and in particular 9v9 which has necessitated many clubs needing to purchase 16’ x 7’ goals. Over the past couple of months and The FA and Football Foundation have moved quickly to support those clubs and leagues wanting to be proactive in moving to deliver 9 v 9 earlier than required and have produced a bursary scheme for the purchase of these goalposts.

The grant is offering grants at 50% of the cost of British Standard 16’ x 7’ goalposts, including delivery and VAT (if applicable). It is likely that the scheme will have a number of windows for grants to be available starting with the first window from 12th July - 30th September 2012

The grant scheme is open to clubs, leagues, local authorities and schools (so long as there is community use of the facilities outside school hours). The applications for the grant will be administered by the county FA on behalf of the organizations and applications must be made before you purchase the goals.

Please note that you cannot apply for funding retrospectively on goals you have already purchased.
