Local Football Partnerships

Berks & Bucks FA know the value of working with local football providers to make sure football is developing for the best in that area. The Local Football Partnerships across Berks & Bucks aim to consult and develop football working with key partners to deliver football in an effective and efficient manner.

We currently have a number of Local Football Partnerships, who work to develop football in their specific area by pooling resources and working in partnership. The aim is for these groups to become self-sustaining, run by volunteers from the area and supported by Berks & Bucks Football Association development team and act as a forum to air views and to tackle some of the issues experienced locally. If you are interested in setting up a local Football Partnership please contact Liz.Verrall@Berks-BucksFA.com

Milton Keynes LFP
The Milton Keynes Local Football Partnership is made up of key volunteers across the area. Representation from local leagues, MK Council, local clubs, MK Dons Sport & Education Trust and schools meet to discuss the issues and areas for development in Milton Keynes. The group are currently working on a development plan to focus the efforts of the group.

The group has also been successful with a funding application to Sport England for "Get into Football." This funding is to be used to develop opportunities for players aged 16+ to play local football at a time, when statistics show that players tend to drop out of the game. It is hoped that this funding, will help buck the trend and produce a clear and concise pathway for anyone within Football in Milton Keynes. The group is currently working on a brand and identity and will soon have their own website.
