Governance covers all aspects of the administration of football whether it is on or off the field of play. This includes Discipline, Club Affiliations, Referee Registrations, League & Competition Affiliations/Sanctions & Welfare.

Club Affiliation
All clubs are required to affiliate each season. Forms are sent out to all Member Clubs in mid-April.  If you have not received your form or you are a new club wishing to affiliate, then you will need to complete and submit a blank form which can be found on Affiliations. Additional information with regards to Club Affiliations can be found here.

It is unfortunate but a fact that most clubs still receive discipline on a regular basis.  All discipline that is received on and off the field is submitted by the referee and administered by the Berks & Bucks FA.  Please see the latest FA Discipline page for more information - Please Click here

If you are interested in becoming a referee or would like copies of the Discipline Report forms please see our Referees page.

League & Competition Affiliation
All Leagues & Competitions are required to affiliate to us each season.  Forms are sent out to all Member Leagues & Competitions in Mid-April.  If you have not received your form or are looking to set up a new league & require further information, please see our Affiliations page

As you should now know, every Youth Football League, every Youth Football Club and any Club that has players under the age of 18 or vulnerable adults, MUST have a qualified Welfare Officer in place. This means that they must be FA CRB cleared and have attended both a Safe-guarding Children and Welfare Officer Workshop within the last three years. Please think about this if you are giving up your role at the end of this season, as any new person will need time to meet the requirements and your Club will not be able to affiliate without them. For all information on Welfare please see our Welfare page.
