Women's Football competitive within Berks & Bucks

Womens

The Thames Valley Women’s League is in its 7th season now the largest based county league in the country.

With 35 teams signed up for season 08-09, the league covers Berks, Bucks & Oxon with additional teams being accepted from Wiltshire & Middlesex as they are yet to host their own women’s leagues.  Currently teams play in 3 ability split divisions, though if the growth continues the league may look to run an ability based division 1 & 2, and then geographically split divisions 3 and 4 into north/south or east/west.  This may help encourage teams of 16 + girls coming out of youth football to continue playing into women’s football.
Most teams are keen to recruit new players and the information on teams can be found by using the find a club option on this website.  If you would like to find out more about this women’s League contact www.tvcwfl.com
