FA Sunday Cup

The FA Carlsberg Sunday Cup is set to enter its 43rd year, and for the fifth consecutive season, the 45,000 capacity home of Liverpool Football Club will host the final on 29 April 2007.

Clubs now have just three weeks to submit their entries for the 2006/07 competition before the 1 August deadline, with an all-time record prize of two thousand pounds on offer for the winners.

The competition enables players from Sunday League teams who are not under written contract to pit their abilities against sides from across the country, and this season The FA will be providing forty five thousand pounds to help clubs meet match and travel expenses.

"For a team entry fee of just forty pounds, the competition provides players with an opportunity to showcase their talents and have a once-in-a-lifetime football experience that they will never forget."
