The 3 LIONS FC is an eight week after school football coaching scheme designed by The FA specifically for young players of both sexes attending Preparatory Independent Schools to increase their opportunities to participate in football in a fun, safe, appropriate environment. It offers pupils a quality experience coached by FA qualified coaches, providing the opportunity to improve their football techniques and skills in a safe well organised environment.

Each 3 LIONS FC Scheme comprises of a progressive but fun football development course designed to help improve the player’s Footballing techniques and skills whilst encouraging good attitude and behaviour. An opportunity for our coaches to access players and guide them to other practice and playing opportunities within ISFA and ISFAG player pathways, such as Development Centres and Representative Teams. 3 LIONS FC Courses are for all boys and girls attending a Preparatory School in the Independent sector who want to start playing football or improve their playing skills.

Coaching staff requirements

- Minimum level 1 coach is required
• Commitment to attend a level 2 course within 12 months is desirable
• You are required to be a member of FACA, FA CRB checked and attended the FA Child Protection Course & Emergency Aid Workshops within the last 3 years
• Commitment to attend AOTT course within 12 months is desirable
• Knowledge of working with children is an advantage
• Knowledge of the curriculum is an advantage
• Access to vehicle to transport equipment
• Must be available late afternoons, early evening or as required from September 2006
