A F C NEWBURY BOYS & GIRLS 1 v 2 ELDON CELTIC

The venue for this particular Final was Abingdon Town Football Club, which saw both teams put on an entertaining game for the average crowd in attendance.

The teams took time to settle down to play their game, with many players showing signs of nerves. The Eldon Celtic team took the stage first and opened the scoring midway through the first half. Once the AFC Newbury team had gained their composure they soon equalised with a superb goal from the smallest player on the field, this goal being an excellent strike from a long distance to please all of the AFC Newbury supporters. The Eldon Celtic side regained their lead with a second goal during the second half and with no further goals in the match emerged as the second winners of the trophy.
