THAMES VALLEY JUNIORS 0 v 1 WOODLEY HAMMERS

The venue for the second Final of this Cup Competition was Abingdon Town Football Club despite the early start a good size crowd turned up to support their teams.

The match started very evenly as a contest with both teams cancelling each other out by playing some neat and skilful football. Thames Valley Juniors made the early openings but failed to convert them into goals. However the Woodley Hammers team made the most of this and opened the scoring. Throughout the remainder of the match both teams had several chances to score but failed to make the most of their opportunities. It was this lone goal from Woodley early in the game that enabled them to become the winners of this seasons competition.
