School Club Links

The FA Launched their FA Club Link Schools Programme back in 2008 along with the FA National Game Strategy and the new Physical Education and School Sport Strategy for Young People. The FA felt this was the right time to replace the FA Charter Standard Schools Programme and the new programme has already proved a huge success.

As part of the way forward, Club Link Charter Standard Clubs who are committed to developing sustainable links with local schools and additional football opportunities within schools will receive equipment bags and access to England tickets along with an FA School Links Certificate.

Benefits Package
• Access to Equipment
• Access to England tickets via FA.com
• FA Club Link School Certificate

Club Links is a key area in both The National Game Strategy and the new FA Corporate Strategy to drive the growth and retention of new club and school teams. As part of the new four-year Business Strategies, County Football Associations have been asked to identify and work with schools on an annual basis to support more young people to make the transition from schools’ football into club football and form sustainable links with FA Charter Standard Clubs.
